Play is recognised as fundamental to a young child’s learning. Guided by the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), play is used intentionally and positively to develop children’s skills, knowledge, and abilities across a wide range of activities. Our educators thoughtfully blend intentional teaching with play-based experiences, supporting children to explore, experiment, and engage deeply with their learning. Children are active participants in this process, reflecting on what they already know, identifying what they would like to learn, and discussing what they have discovered during each topic or theme.
